Make-a-Break
Two shooters stand in a shooting stands 12 feet apart. In front of the shooters are two clay target machines, these are Trap #1. In the field of play, there are 6 other clay target machines at various locations. Shooter A must shoot the clay target from Trap #1 and trap #2. If Shooter A breaks #1 and misses #2, he scores 1 point. Had he hit #2, he would have scored 3 points. Shooter B shoots the same target pairs as Shooter A. The rotation continues until both shooters have completed the 1 thru 7 combinations.
Note: to "score" the shooter MUST HIT target #1. Thus, if he is shooting at combination 1-4 and misses #1 but hit's #4, NO POINTS are earned because he missed #1.
At the end of the 1-7 combination, the shooters switch locations and the shooter with the higher score decides which combination he wants to shoot. The shooter that is behind can choose to shot any combination he wants in an effort to score more points and catch up to his opponent. Both shooters continue to shoot their chosen combinations until another 7 combinations have been completed. At the end of 7 more "rotations" the shots are tallied and the winner declared. The shooter with the highest score wins the prize
Long bird shoot
One of the stations will be the Long Bird Station and there will be one of the shots will be a 55 - 60 yard shot, each shooter that buys the option will keep track of the number of clays that are broken for the long bird. The person that breaks the most of those 4 targets for the day is awarded a prize.
Note: There will be a drawing for a 12 gauge Browning Citori over and under shotgun. This is an exceptional shotgun valued at over $2000. Tickets will be sold for $25 each or 5 for $100. (Gun is similar to picture below)
Note: Shells will be available at the park for $7.00 a box; you will need 5-8 boxes for the day depending on how many of the extra contest you enter.
